Monetizing your blog

I'm sure you all have given this a thought. Some have done it, some have not and some do not know how to do it.

I think this might be an interesting topic. Those who have been doing it since long time can help others that are getting into this stuff.

Here goes my experience:
Recently I realized that most people coming to my blog were actually searching for albums. So I started placing targetted ads on my blog. Each time I do a song or album review, I put links to buy the album on Amazon. Simple.
