Subs or dub?

Do you prefer to watch anime which have subtitled and the original audio track, or prefer the voices to be dubbed?

For my part, I prefer the subs 'coz the language is funny. You learn new words and the original voices are part of the emotions depicted in the video. Dubs don't give the same feeling. I do hate subs which hide part of the details of the video though, but such a thing happen very rarely.

Yup i prefer subs too. dubs really take the special feel out of it

Sinon kan to gete n serie en so langaz original c n lot plaisir. Li paret pli real. Touletem kan mo gagne lokasion met n fim dan so langaz original mo fer li.

& btw i use subs with US movies coz sometimes their gibberish is beyond my understanding!

Definitely subs! You ever watch sailor moon with english subs. Horrible! French is well, much better, I have to say. But the original audio track is way much better!

Subs as well. For any movie/anime in a foreign language I prefer subs. I like to watch hindi and tamil movies with subs too

My post was bout movies, since i dont watch anime..

i undstand french dubs better. if i watch an anime with subs only i will have to really concentrate on whats written to be able to understand

Try imitating that famous "Iyaaaaaaaaaaa!" in English!

Subs of course, i mean for instance in a shonen, a quick "Ikuzo" is much better placed than "Let's go!" (can't explain it, its just a special feel there is to it.)

Only downside is that after getting used to subs in anime, You will not be able to avoid reading subs in any video, whether you understand the language or not, reflexes toussa toussa

That's very right carrot. But, In the world of anime, subs is way better than dub. Subs preserve the anime's state and gives you an opportunity to learn a new language.

Learn Japanese and no need for subs.
