How to get bloggers or people with similar interests as you to visit and comment on your blog? Do you have any tips which you can share?

yeah visiting and commenting is the best way to get yourself known to them. And try to make your comment relevant and interesting. Give useful feedbacks (its not because i'm saying it that i necessarily do it)

getting slashdotted helps. i think most people are into digg now. blargh. anyway, get shoutwired first (shoutwire.com) - it helps increase the chances of getting dugg afterwards.

and yes, keep posting comments on others' blogs.

i comment whenever something interests me but i don't really do it often

Participate in forums that are relevant to your blog topic and put your blog address in the signature. I've just started doing this. Participate in discussions etc. I already talk on a few forums but I add my signature now.

Thanks for the tips. I did some visits and commentings and I think it was worthwhile. I think MBB is the best if one is looking for Mauritian visitors

i see some ppl placing their links on msn and someone has mailed me to ask to check his blog i just wish to ask you not to do that

But none of my friends visit my blog... unless i tell them to...

my host (internet centrum) promotes my blog wlol and my readers are primarily slovak - they don't post comments on the blog though they post comments on the isp forums. hence, my alexa ratings are good and the advert revenue is high.

in my case, i put the link on my msn cause I need some form of feedback to progress. and it worked cause I did receive a lot of constructive criticisms on my personal mail.

yeah sometimes i place links in my personal message too
