Traffic Source?
From where do you get your traffic from? Search engines, referring sites?
Thanks

Re: Traffic Source?
More than 80% of traffic is from Google searches & Google Image searches...
The rest is from direct traffic & referring sites (thembb, digg, indianpad, shoutwire, etc...)

Re: Traffic Source?
A blog without traffic is like living without breathing.
It is quite hard to hit it in dig. Few people digs when they find something interesting. I meant, if you are not popular with blogging.

If you are not popular, digging doesn't do anything...
Unless you've cooked up a web-breaking post!
But it's still better than nothing!

I don't aim at being popular. I joined this forum as a "non-blogger", inspired by the mbbians i decided to create a blog and write something from time to time. i participate more here than anywhere else. my blog is just an online journal of some not-so-personal thoughts.

Re: Traffic Source?
digging? you guys rely too much on digg.
try posting your entries on social networking sites like facebook.
also, try forums, and keep on commenting entries from other bloggers.
your posts need to be meaningful.
flirt with the ones who comment.

Re: Traffic Source?
I think Digg is good. Depends on the blog. For instance I won't expect people to digg my posts they're not meaningful, intellectually speaking. and i'm not pro, but for those aiming at problogging, Digg is great.
Re: Traffic Source?
do you just send in sentences like that or are you trying to reply to a particular member's post?Neelesh wrote:The initial phase is very hard. It needs patience and perseverance.

Re: Traffic Source?
So you want me to be more respondsive.
I believe we can get traffic from stumble upon. People cannot decide what the next web site/blog/forum will appear in his screen. If you have a neat, intutive, and an eye catching description of your site, you will have high chances of having a new reader. And if your site is really good, you will have maybe yet another reader from the previous reader.
Next is write articles with a link back to your blog. This will draw attentions
write guest posts
comment on other simmilar posts with a link back to your article.
Thats it.
