it's a deep text definitely ... too bad, the author does not talk about the post itself .. however, i feel a lot of frustrations in it.

It seems that the person in your text is more disillusioned and sad than anything else, and is now opening his eyes on life.

i don't think this is has something to do with the fact that arranged marriage is better or worse then 'love' marriage. Love is a too generic term and is too vast.

my opinion is that it seems the person is unhappy about his current life and wants to make a move and the easiest option is to point the finger to her partner.

what i think is that the woman so far has not shown any violence or evilness in her character. only the guy behave irrationally. perhaps he is jealous or too possessive and this is driving him mad

yeah you might be right, he describes well how things are boiling up in the relationship.. the character does not really express the will to find real solutions though.. i guess it's intentional

well I think you should not neglect the fact that this present extract is the last act of this play. we cannot know what happened before that made the man treat his wife like this. the mention of the woman's make up is a very important element too. usually it shows that the woman is quite superficial or ambitious.

i wish the author could enlighten us a little on this.

well, that's my way of doing things - being chivalrous and always be there for her and the kid. being courteous and charming even if it entails unleashing the feminine side of oneself helps keep things ongoing. nobody gets bored and it's always happiness even in dark hours.
and of course, there's NO blame game. both of them should find solutions to issues (which are themselves solutions in disguise). ambition is just another catalyst though the main catalyst for the husband is his wife and for the wife her husband. kids also play a role but they can lead to annoyance for a wife may consider a kid as being troublesome and a husband may find her/him too cute and awww.
