[tip] use netvibes!

Some of you already know about this. So, bear with me!

Are you finding it hard to keep up-to-date with all the Mauritian blogs that are part of the brethren?
Are you getting tired of having to hop over to each individual page, of having to wait for the page to load, and then to hop over to the next blog?
If that's you, well, that's where netvibes can help!

Some of us at CAAOP, i.e. kyu-kun, nym-chan and meself, have been using it for sometime now! And, I can tell ya, it's very useful!

It basically works like a feeds aggregator (+reader) and personal start page coz, duh! it's all this!!! Razz

Also, the best part is that you can customize your page (via relevant self-selected templates/themes) and you can use it to chat or check your emails!!! All in one freaking page!!! Razz

wow! in fact when checking my stats, i often notice some referrals from netvibes. I did not know why coz i thought it was a sort of blog directory and i wasnt registered on that! now i know why! some people have subscribed to me using netvibes! thanks for the tip waz, that was damn useful! Very Happy

Honestly speaking, I'm not subscribe to any blog. I check my favourite blogs manually! Razz

me too google reader here :p [but still, i enjoy clicking each links one after the other...opening them in tabs rather than having all the post on one page :p]

google reader, (or any other reader for that matter, mais mo experience zis ek google reader) lacks the true feel of the blog. com banner, sidebar etc. mo penser bne blogs perso vo mieu chek zot en tapant zot link lor browser ki en lisant via a reader.

The great advantage of Google Reader is that it removes all the bandwidth-intensive site content, only the post appears... Great for viewing blogs like Engadget, Gizmodo...

& for some of the personal blogs, even though i've read it through Google Reader, i prefer opening it in tabs... Very Happy

Me too. I prefer to check the links and be surprised that there is a new post instead of getting a notification that someone has posted on his/her blog.
