Recycling in Mauritius

Kikene coner kot sa cav ale kit ban object en plastic pu recycle? Mo ena plin bouteille plastic et ossi ban lezot zafer ki pa servi com ban ancien printers and stuff..

la gare du sud curepipe, (kot parking taxi) ena ene enorme poubelle vert avec logo "recycling"

Weh mne trouver sa ban poubelle la. Mais dans le nord pna.

Dans le nord, quitte sa kot Solitude... ena en recycling factory la-bas... (mais only PETs)

& btw recycling is a huge problem in Mauritius! There are many things that are extremely toxic & cannot be disposed - batteries, electronics, bulbs... etc!
(& there's people who even burn them!)

Weh.. Mne remarker ke mem si nu mari brag about la beauter nu lile, nou tou zet tou zafer partou partou... :S Pourtant ena assez poubelle... Ene tas dimun manzer zot zet zot papier ou cornet emplace. Moi mo garde li dan mo sac si pna poubelle. :p

& public toilets as well! (Anyone who has tried La Gare Victoria toilet would know... )

That's very true about the bragging.

We should be more considerate about our own present at the time being. We need litter bins almost everywhere, so that when we have something to throw, it will not be on the roads, but in the litter bins.
