HAVING DIFFICULTIES IN BLOGGING! HELP NEEDED! URGENT

Hi all, am Yash...guitartuitions.blogspot.com

I have a blog and it was going pretty well........till today........when i opened the blog in another computer, i saw that the blog was different........

its a guitar blog..and i include tablatures in it...and in my pc at home..its nice and well structured...but i was shocked to see my blog badly structured with the guitar tabs...and lines unstructured...

WHY IS THIS SO??

IS IT BECAUSE OF THE RESOLUTION??

Why isnt it universal in all PC????????

what browser do you use at home? Firefox?

and what browser did you use to view it on another computer?

sometimes differences occur with Internet Explorer (IE)

Oh gosh...ya i just opened the blog on internet explorer...and its badly structured...........while i use firefox mostly......


what should i do now??? should i correct it while using internet explorer???? and wont it affect people viewing it in firefox??????

Yash I would advice you not to change anything because most users use firefox. there are many blogs which look horrible when viewed using IE, yours is not the first Don't worry

Are n't there any solution to this..?? where it can be viewed the same with any explorer??

write 2 stylesheets - one for IE and one for FX. and please, make them W3 compliant.

Nice solution...

Add the tabs to a table on Word & try copying & pasting it on the Post Editor...

why does the difference occur between internet explorer and firefox?

Use opera.

hey ! there are standards for the web that exist, and browsers(firefox,opera, safari, IE6 and the horrible IE7) do not implement the standards fully. Most implement part of it and sometimes the implementation of an element - say the position of an image on a web page - may differ slightly from browser to browser

even firefox 2 does not implement all features of web standards so even if u make something W3 compliant, you don't have any guarantee that it will be like u want in all browsers . The latest version of opera normally implements the standards fully. (i'm a firefox user btw)

The latest Webkit has passed the Acid3 test 100/100. So it's the most compatible browser out there... but since it's the same crippled Safari... only web developers use it!

Yash you are not he first to face this problem. And there is one solution, like fadil said, having different stylesheets for different browsers. But I doubt you'll be able to do that on blogger.

I'd advise you to accept that your blog is best viewed on firefox. You cant get everything in life. lol
